In recent years, Haixi Research Institute (Fujian Institute of Materials and Materials) has continuously strengthened the construction and development of a high-level scientific and technological innovation platform. At present, it has State Key Laboratory of Structural chemistry, National Research Center for Optoelectronic Crystal Materials Engineering Technology, National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory for Nanocatalytic Materials and Technology Four national level innovation platforms, including the National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Motor Drive and Power Electronics, as well as more than 20 provincial and ministerial level innovation platforms, including the Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials Chemistry and Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Key Laboratory of Coal to Ethylene Glycol and Related Technologies of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Key Laboratory of Functional Nanostructure Design and Assembly of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, have formed a scientific and technological innovation platform layout that integrates cutting-edge science, strategic high technology, and engineering.

Based on the current situation and with a focus on the future, Haixi Research Institute (Fujian Institute of Architecture) will comprehensively implement the major decisions and deployments of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the State Council, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, focus on its main responsibilities, identify its positioning for leapfrog development, accurately benchmark its output orientation, and promote technological innovation and career development to a new level.
